Summoners War - Monster

In Summoners War, Monster are the main thing that any players will try to collect/summon to fight will them into all the different Battle Map! There's so many Monster available in the game and Com2uS regularly add more to the collection! It exist 1102 different Monsters to summon!! Any Monster will come into one of the 5 different Elemental: Water, Fire, Wind, Light and Dark! However, some Monster will not have every Elemental Type. They all possess a natural Grade between 1 Star to 5 Stars, higher the Star Grade, harder they are to summon! Every Monster have it's own set of Stats and Skills! Each Monster have a specific Role, there's 4 different Role: Attack, Defense, Support of HP. A Monster can be Awaken into he's Awaken Form and will become stronger and also will be assigned with a Specific Name! Some Monster have Leader Skill that give bonus to every other Monster in the Team during Battle. There's Monsters who can Buffs your Team, Heal or Revive and some that can DeBuffs Enemies!



Monster Storage (Inventory)

At the beginning, all players will start with a monster storage in their inventory with 50 slots! Each slot allow to carry a Monster into our Summoners War Land! It can be raise to a maximum of 100 by spending Mana Stone or Crystal to unlock 10 Slots each time!

Monster Elemental (Attribute)

All Monsters will possess a certain Elemental (Attribute)! There's 5 different Elemental (Attribute):
- Water
- Fire
- Wind
- Light
- Dark

Because there's different Elemental (Attribute), they all have their own Strengths and Weaknesses between each other!

- Water is stronger against Fire
- Fire is stronger against Wind
- Wind is stronger against Water
- Light and Dark are both is stronger against each other

During Battle, each time it's the turn to a Monster, there's will be an Indicator over each Enemies Monsters! There's 3 kind of Indicator:
- Green (Advantage)
- Yellow (Neutral)
- Red (Disadvantage)

A Green (Advantage) Indicator will give a bonus of landing a Crushing Hit that give 15% to their Critical Rate!
A Red (Disadvantage) Indicator will give weakness bonus of landing a Glancing Hit that remove 15% Critical Rate! Also the Base Damage is reduced by 20%. If the attack was done as a Glancing Hit, the final total damage is reduced by 30% and no chance to inflict debuff status!
A Yellow (Neutral) Indicator will have not gain or reduce!


Monster Kind

There's a very large amount of Monster Kind, in total it exist 1021 different Monsters divided into ~111 Kind! The same Monster Kind can be summoned as one of the 5 different Elemental, however, it depend on the Summoning technique.. Mystical Scroll only offer Water, Fire and Wind Elemental. Light and Darkness Scroll only offer Light and Dark Elemental. Also, some Monsters doesn't exist in each Elemental. When Awakening a Monster Kind, the name will change into the Unique Name of the Monster Kind! EX: Water Nine-tailed Fox will become Soha.

Monster Grade

Monsters can be graded from 1 Star to 6 Stars. You can make lower grade Monsters into upper grade Monsters by Evolving them.

Usually, Monsters have their own Natural Grade between 1 to 5 Stars, it doesn't exist any Monsters that are Naturally Grade 6 Stars. The higher the Natural Grade of the Monsters, harder they are to obtain!

Also, the Star will represent if the Monster can be Awaken or not! If the Star are colored White, it mean they cannot be Awaken but if the Star are Yellow, they can be Awaken! Purple Star mean that the Monster is in the Awaken form!


Monster Level

All Monsters can gain Experience to Level UP! By Leveling up a Monster, they will gain additional point in their base Stats! Each Level have it's own amount of Experience needed to for the next Level. However, the Maximum Level on each Monsters is determined by the Monster Grade!

Monster Role

Monsters can be divided into 5 Roles or Types according to their Skill and Stats:
- Attack (High ATK Stat, used for Deal Damage)
- Defense (High DEF Stat, used for Tank Damage)
- Tanker (High HP Stat, used for Absorb Damage)
- Support (used for Buff/Heal/Revive)
- Material (used for Leveling Up/Evolving/Skill Up, cannot participate into Battle)


Monster Stats

All Monsters have 4 Basic Stats:
- HP/Hit Point (For the Hit Points, some Monster us MAX HP for the amount of Damage Point or Healing Point)
- ATK/Attack (For Damage, some Monster use Attack for the amount of Healing Point)
- DEF/Defense (For Absorb Damage, some Monster use Defense for the amount of Damage Point)
- SPD/Speed (For Hitting Turns, some Monster use Speed for the amount of Damage Point)

The 4 Basic Stats will increase by each Level and Awakening. It can also be raised by Runes!

Also they have 4 Sub-Basic Stats:
- CRI Rate/Critical Rate (Percentage Chance to perform a Critical Hit - Cap 100%)
- CRI Dmg/Critical Damage (Additional Percentage of Damage done when performing a Critical Hit)
- Resistance (Percentage Chance to avoid Debuff/Curse/Negative Status Effect to succeed - Cap 100%)
- Accuracy (Percentage Chance to inflict Debuff/Curse/Negative Statue Effect to bypass Resistance - Cap 100%)

The 4 Sub-Basic Stats will not increase by each Level, but some Monsters while Awakening can raise one of them. It can also be raised by Runes!


Monster Skills

Each Monsters are associated with a set of Skills, who represent an kind of Attack! However, some Skills are not made for Damage only, there's Skills that can Heal, Buff, Revive or Debuff! The maximum amount of Skills available for a Monster is 4, perhaps, some Monsters will be limited to only 2 or 3 Skills. Sometime, during Awakening some Monsters will gain a new Skills or will have an already existing Skill Upgrade! Also, it exist a kind of Skills that are Leader Skill, who takes effect only when selecting your Party Leader! Leader Skill are automatically active during Battle! Some of the Leader Skill are only applied in Dungeon, Arena, Guild Battle or a specific Elemental! It exist Skills that are Automatic Effect (Passive) during Battle!

The 1st Skill on every Monsters is basically the Main Attack Skill that have 0 Cooldown! Can be used each Turns! Other Skills when used will require an Amount of Turns Passed in order to Re-activate the Skill!

Every Skills can be raised up to the next Level by either using a Monster of the same Kind during Power-Up or Evolution or by using a Devilmon! Devilmon is a Special Material Monster that can raise any Monsters Skills! During Skill Level Up, the game will choose randomly a Skill to raise!


Monster Awakening

Almost all Monsters can do an Awakening! In order to Awaken a Monster, it require to use certain amount of Essences! Normally, it require the same Elemental Essence and Neutral Essence!

Awaken offer to the Monster to gain 3 modifications on them that can be:
- New Skill
- Skill Upgrade
- Increase 1 Basic Stat
- Increase 1 Sub-Basic Stat
- Greatly Increases Basic Stats
- Becomes a Special Monster [Awaken Name]

The Monster will Transform into a new Graphic Animation, change he's Name into the Unique Monster Kind Name and the Grade Star will change to Purple! However, only Yellow Grade Star can be Awaken!

Elemental Essences are obtained in Hall of Elements or World Boss.


Monster Rune

Every Monsters can have attached to them Rune and they provide additional bonus Stats and Special Effect! There's 6 different Rune Slot available to each Monsters.


Monster Evolution

Monsters can Evolve into it's next Grade when they reach their Maximum Level! All Monsters can reach Grade 6 Stars! In order to Evolve, it require to Sacrifice the same amount of Monster with same Grade as the Monster to Evolve!

Monster Options

Every Monsters that is under your possession and inside your current list have an Option Button (Gear Icon) that offer 4 choose:
- Set Rep Monster (Allow to determined which Monster will be set as your Reputation Monster. It's also the Monster who will be displayed when Players click on your Name in Chat. Rep Monster can be used by your Friends 1 time each day, if one of your Friend use it, you will be rewarded by 10 Social Points)
- Lock Monster (Allow to Lock the Monster, if Power-up or Evolve, the Monster will be Locked, unable to be chosen)
- Transmogrify (Allow to Switch back into a different Monster Appearance)
- Unsummon Monster (Allow to Unsommum the Monster into Mana Stones. The Monster will disappear from the game.)


Monster Capacity

Having Monsters require some Capacity. However, those Capacity are limited to a maximum number of Monsters that a Player can own! A Beginner Player will have a maximum of 15 Monsters Capacity. It can be raised to 100 by using Mana Stones or Crystals! Also, there's a Building the Monster Storage. It start with a maximum of 5 Monsters Capacity. It can be raised to 500 by using Mana Stones or Crystals!

Maximum Monsters Capacity is 600!

When the maximum limit is reached, the Players will be unable to purchase, summon, withdraw Monsters but they will still be able to Loot Monsters from Scenarios or Dungeons, it will bypass the Player Limit!

Some monsters have been only obtained during certain Events by Com2uS:
- Fairy Queen (Light) [30 Million Downloads Event Reward]
- Cow Girl (Dark) [40 Million Downloads Event Reward]
- Magical Archer (Light) [Japanese Code giveaway from Famitsu magazine #017]


Monster the Homunculus

Homunculus is a special Monsters! It exist 2 Kind of Homunculus, the Attack and Support! It's Summoned only by the Craft Building. It require Crystals who are obtained in Rift Dungeons.

Homunculus (Attack)
When Summoned into the Game, the Homunculus (Attack) always start as a Fire Homunculus (Attack) and will have a Custom Name chosen by the Player! It's possible to change he's Elemental into a Water or Wind. The Name can also be changed by using a Homunculus Name Change Ticket for 150 Crystals in the Shop! There's no Light and Dark Homunculus (Attack)!

Homunculus (Support)
When Summoned into the Game, the Homunculus (Support) always start as a Light Homunculus (Support) and will have a Custom Name chosen by the Player! It's possible to change he's Elemental into a Dark. The Name can also be changed by using a Homunculus Name Change Ticket for 150 Crystals in the Shop! There's no Fire, Water and Wind Homunculus (Support)!

According to their Skills, they can be choose by the Player.

Can only possess 1x Homunculus of each Kind!
